Egypt hosted the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit on Monday, October 13, 2025, under the joint chairmanship of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and US President Donald Trump, with the participation of leaders of more than twenty countries.

This preceded the official start of the summit’s proceedings, hosted at the International Conference Center in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh on Monday, October 13, 2025.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his US counterpart, Donald Trump, signed an agreement to end the war in Gaza.




President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, US President Donald Trump, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani signed a comprehensive peace declaration endorsing the agreement between Hamas and Israel.
The signing ceremony took place during Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit, held in the Egyptian resort city on Monday, October 13, 2025, which aims to bring an end to the war in Gaza, strengthen efforts to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East, and open a new chapter of regional security and stability.

The Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit witnessed the participation of leaders of more than twenty countries, including kings, presidents, vice presidents, prime ministers, and ministers.
The official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic stated that leaders and high officials participating in the "Sharm El Sheikh Peace Summit," alongside President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and US President Donald Trump, are the King of Jordan, the Emir of Qatar, the Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the King of Bahrain, and the President of Palestine.
Also participating in the summit are the President of Turkey, the President of Indonesia, the President of Azerbaijan, the President of France, the President of Cyprus, and the German Chancellor.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, the Prime Minister of Italy, the Prime Minister of Spain, the Prime Minister of Greece, the Prime Minister of Armenia, the Prime Minister of Hungary, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Prime Minister of Canada, the Prime Minister of Norway, the Prime Minister of Iraq, and the Vice President of the UAE are participating.
Also attending the summit are the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, the President of the European Council, the Minister of State for External Affairs of India, and the Ambassador of Japan to Cairo.
Meanwhile, Presidential Spokesman Mohamed El-Shennawy stated that Saudi Arabia will take part in the summit with a delegation headed by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah Al Saud, noting that Paraguay and the Netherlands will also partake in the event.
The spokesman further clarified Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not attend the summit due to a religious holiday.
