En quelques semaines, une dizaine de renards a ?t? tu?e par la "maladie de Carr?" dans cinq communes li?geoises (Seraing, Li?ge, Comblain-au-Pont, Fl?malle et Esneux). Mais le virus pourrait s??tendre en Wallonie. "C?est une maladie qui touche principalement les jeunes chiens. Les sympt?mes sont assez diffus et pas tr?s sp?cifiques de la maladie (diarrh?e, vomissements ou troubles respiratoires)", pr?cise le v?t?rinaire Louis-Philippe Marcotty.

On l'appelle la "maladie de Carré". C'est une pathologie virale qui a déjà tué douze renards en région liégeoise ces six derniers mois. Cinq communes sont touchées. Ce virus très contagieux se transmet par voie respiratoire et peut aussi affecter les chiens. Mieux vaut donc s'assurer que vos animaux de compagnie ont bien été vaccinés.
