DES MOINES, Iowa -- A new study shows the state is tied for last when it comes to being ready for a major health crisis.
The Trust for America's Health analyzed key factors as adequate medical staff numbers and state funding for public health.
The Trust for America's Health reports 26,000 people could potentially die from a pandemic in Iowa. They said the state needs to be more prepared for outbreaks and bioterrorism threats...
