Rep. Gaetz files criminal referral against Facebook for 'false statements' to Congressby Sinclair Broadcast Group

WASHINGTON (SBG) — Congress Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., announced he is filing a criminal report against Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

The filing accuses Zuckerberg of making false statements to Congress while under oath. Gaetz claims that the incidents occurred during two congressional hearings on April 10 and April 11, 2020.

"Mr. Zuckerberg repeatedly and categorically denied his company engaged in bias against conservative speech, persons, policies, or politics and also denied that Facebook censored and suppressed content supportive of President Donald Trump and other conservatives," a statement from Gaetz office reads.
