  • Students Studying Abroad

I have followed the flu blogs for a couple of years. Have prepped and prepared only to have my 20 year old son leave for New Zealand to study abroad at the university of Canterbury in New Zealand. I would love to hear from other families that are facing the H1N1 outbreak in similar situations. What steps have you taken to help keep your students safe in a foreign country? How do you keep your sanity?

    Welcome to FluTrackers Pammieky!

I cannot answer your question with any confidence. I have a child returning to school this fall and am somewhat worried about infection.

I am focusing on emphasizing practical hygiene and social distancing until there is a safe and effective vaccine.

As far as my sanity - that may be a lost cause
