Tuban, East Java ::: Bird flu attacks chickens

Tuban ? A total 50 chickens from 13 households in Dusun Krajan, Desa Bektiharjo, Kecamatan Semanding, Tuba, died off. The incident had been observed on two days earlier.
Livestock Service examined the dead chicken body which had been buried, and resulted positive bird flu (H5N1).
Following to the incident disinfection was done to the poultries reared by locals.
So far no human found to be infected, but Livestock Service requested people to report any sign of illness such as chill and high fever.
