India : Woman succumbs to H1N1 flu
One more person succumbed to influenza A(H1N1) while as many as 11 fresh cases were reported from all over the State on Sunday. While six cases were reported from Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam had two cases and Kollam, Malappuram and Thrissur, one each.
The Health Department confirmed that the death of Brijimol, 23, a resident of Kulathur, Thiruvananthapuram, at the Medical College Hospital here on Saturday was due to H1N1. She had died of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and Myocarditis.
