THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A total of 19 swine flu positive cases were confirmed in the state on Monday. Of this, 17 cases were detected in Thiruvananthapuram alone.
The other two cases have been reported from Malappuram and Kollam.
With this, the total number of swine flu positive cases reported in the state has risen to 1697.
The swab samples of 19 suspected patients have been sent for testing. Four persons who have been tested positive have been admitted to the Intensive Care Units in different hospitals.
