RANCHI: With the number of swine flu cases increasing in Jharkhand with each passing day, private hospitals in the capital and across the state are not cooperating with the health department over revealing exact number of swine flu suspects and their condition at their facilities.
When the first case of swine flu surfaced at a private nursing home in Ranchi on March 2, state health secretary K Vidyasagar had no inkling of it. "Why do these hospitals not inform us?" he asked his subordinates over phone. Two days later and one more confirmed case after, similar situation
