    MUMBAI: A 29-year-old pregnant woman admitted to a private hospital here died of swine flu, taking the toll due to the viral infection to 14 in the
    city.

    Nine-month-pregnant Sapna was admitted to Holi Spirit Hospital in suburban Andheri with flu like symptoms on August 29. Her swab sample was sent for testing on September 1.

    She was given full course of Tamiflu but she died on September 6, a day after she tested positive for the virus.

    Sapna also had a stillbirth, Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) said.

    This was the second pregnant woman to die in Mumbai on September 6. The other victin Urvashi Singh also delivered a stillborn baby, but is not counted as an H1N1 death because even though she had earlier tested positive, a second test two weeks later came back negative.
