be suffering from swine flu died on Monday. His samples have been sent to the National Institute of Virology (NIV) in Pune for testing.
The patient, a 55-year-old man, was brought to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in the city on Monday with several complications. He was suffering from viral pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). However, after some hours of treatment, he died at 2.45 pm.
