Elderly breath stopped due to fever in Maduri

An elderly person suffering from fever for over a week died during treatment on Sunday. Earlier, the family admitted him to Kanpur, where he was discharged after some relief after treatment. On reaching home, his health deteriorated and he died.
Sivaram Sonkar, a resident of Maduri village in police station area, was suffering from fever for the last week. The family first treated him locally but due to lack of relief and worsening health, he took him to Kanpur, where during treatment he also got blood in vomit several times. After treatment, he got some relief and the doctor discharged him. The family reached home with him a day earlier. His sudden health worsened on Sunday. He died before his family could take him anywhere. It is being told that currently around two dozen people are suffering from fever in Maduri village. Those who have fever also complain of joint pain. All the people are getting their treatment in private hospitals.
