            1049 children die in BRD medical college in six months





            Gorakhpur, July 7th. 1049 children have died in six months in BRD Medical College Gorakhpur. These include 73 children with encephalitis. In this period 681 children died in the highest NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). These children were suffering from infections, respiratory problems, low weight, etc. This year, the death of children has increased with encephalitis. In the Pediatric Department of BRD Medical College, NICUs and older children are admitted to PICU (pediatric intensive care unit) to newborn babies.
