CONCERN OVER RISING CASES OF WATER-BORNE DISEASES IN HALDWANI

Amid soaring atmospheric temperature, increasing cases of water and vector-borne diseases like diarrhoea come as a cause of concern. Though rise of water and vector borne diseases during this period is very common as the health experts maintained poor state of civic services or unhygienic conditions only give rise to such diseases.
Death of a child due to diarrhoea on Thursday last at the base hospital, Haldwani, only confirmed this belief. The children who are being admitted to the base hospital here for treatment of water and vector borne diseases like diarrhoea are mainly from Haldwani?s Indira Nagar, Safdar Ka Bagicha, Rajpura, neighbouring Lalkuan to name a few places.
