Dengue case surfaces again in Kutch
    3 May 2009, 2220 hrs IST

BHUJ: A resident another state, Ravindra Singh Haley, 30, working in a company at Gandhidham here, has been diagnosed with dengue.
Haley suffered from a bout of fever and was taken to a private hospital, where his blood sample was taken and sent to Ahmedabad laboratory.

Municipal and district health staff have begun preventive steps like spraying disinfectants. Dengue has been playing hide-and-seek in the Kutch district for the past six months.

Three members of a family had died of dengue at Aadesar village of Rapar taluka a month ago.
Authorities had taken some ad hoc steps then and now once again similar half-hearted measures are visible, lamented an observer.
