More than 350 chickens died in two days, fear of bird flu

In the poultry farm of Bihar Animal Science University, more than 350 chickens have died in two days. This death took place in the Poultry Farm located at Kaushalnagar-Chittkohra of the University. The samples have been sent to the Animal Health and Production Unit (LRS Lab) to investigate the cause of death of chickens.

Director of LRS Lab, Dr. Sunil Kumar Verma said that several chickens were reported to have died simultaneously in the poultry farm of Animal Science University. The samples from there have been sent to the lab in Kolkata for further investigation. The exact cause of death of the chickens will be known only after the report comes in the next one week. According to very reliable sources of poultry farm, bird flu can be the reason for the death of so many chickens at once. Many senior university officials are also fearing bird flu. However, he is refraining from saying anything before the investigation report comes.
