بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
خادم الحرمين الشريفين/ جلالة الملك عبد الله بن عبد العزيز آل سعود حفظه الله
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته،،، وبعد
فكم فرحنا وابتهجنا بالقرار التاريخي في خطابكم لمجلس الشورى يوم الأحد ٢٧ شوال ١٤٣٢ الموافق ٢٥ سبتمبر لعام ٢٠١١م، الذي أعطى للمرأة الحق في أن تكون عضوة في المجلس، وأن ترشح نفسها وتنتخب غيرها في المجلس البلدي، ولازلنا نتذكر قولتكم الشهيرة: (المرأة هي أختي وأمي وزوجتي وابنتي)، وأنتم من قال مطمئنا شعبه وأبناءه: (سأضرب بسيف العدل هامة الظلم).
لكننا فجعنا في اليوم نفسه باستدعاء المواطنة (نجلاء حريري) وإحالتها للمحكمة على خلفية قيادتها للسيارة، وفي يوم الثلاثاء ٢٩ شوال ١٤٣٢ الموافق ٢٧ سبتمبر ٢٠١١م، صدر حكم المحكمة بمدينة جدة على المواطنة (شيماء جستنية) بالجلد عشر جلدات بتهمة قيادتها للسيارة، وكانت المواطنة (منال الشريف) قد أوقفت ٩ أيام بسبب قيادتها للسيارة في ١٨ جمادى الآخرة الموافق ٢١ مايو لعام ٢٠١١ م، ونخشى أن يستمر مسلسل الظلم هذا.
إننا يا خادم الحرمين بنات هذا الوطن نعتقد أن الوقت قد حان لحسم هذه القضية، وحيث أنه لا مانع شرعي من ذلك، وأن قيادة السيارة حق إنساني، كفلته الشريعة الإسلامية ومنعته العادات الاجتماعية، فسيف العدل أن يصدر عن جلالتكم قرار ينهي هذا الجدل الذي طال لأكثر من عقدين من الزمان، يرفع الظلم عنا، ويثبت حقنا الشرعي والإنساني.
إننا يا خادم الحرمين آلمنا كثيرا الظلم الذي وقع على (شيماء جستنية) بسبب حق كفلته لها الشريعة والإنسانية، ونناشدك بايقاف الحكم الصارد بحقها. وإن لم يكن سبيل من رفع الظلم عنها فلا أقل من مساواتنا معها في مظلوميتها بأن تستباح ظهورنا للجلد، فهي لم تقترف إثما، وإنما طالبت بما طالبنا به مرارا.
