Lors de la surveillance active de l?avifaune men?e aux alentours du Lac Ubsu-Nur, quelques oiseaux sauvages ont ?t? trouv?s morts. Un virus H5N1 de l?influenza aviaire hautement pathog?ne a ?t? d?tect? et isol? sur des ?chantillons pr?lev?s chez deux gr?bes hupp?s et chez deux sternes pierregarins. Aucun virus H5N1 de l?influenza aviaire hautement pathog?ne n?a ?t? d?tect? sur des ?chantillons pr?lev?s chez des oiseaux migrateurs sains d?esp?ces diverses : gr?be hupp? (Podiceps cristatus), grand cormoran (Phalacrocorax carbo), nette rousse (Netta rufina), canard chipeau (Anas strepera), sterne pierregarin (Sterna hirundo), foulque macroule (Fulica atra), mouette rieuse (Larus ridibundus). Le s?quen?age des virus isol?s a montr? qu?ils appartenaient ? la lign?e asiatique du virus H5N1 de l?influenza aviaire hautement pathog?ne, clade 2.3.2.1, et qu?ils ?taient tr?s similaires aux virus H5N1 russes isol?s en 2014 et 2015.
