60-year-old male patient, hospitalised on April 1. Diagnosed on April 3 as an acute case of H1N1 virus strain infection, not the H7N9 strain. In critical condition
Human cases of H7N9 bird flu reported in China.
As of May 20, there were a total of 130 confirmed cases, including 36 deaths and at least 72 who have fully recovered. Not all of the deaths and recovered cases are marked in this map because some provincial authorities have yet to publish these patients' names.
A first case was reported in Taiwan on April 24.
