      These three deaths bring the Australian total number of deaths to be associated with Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 influenza to 35.

      The three men were aged between 47 and 65 years old. All had underlying conditions that increased their risk of illness.

        National case update
        At noon today Australia has 14 703 confirmed cases of Pandemic (H1N1) 2009.
        The total number of Australian deaths associated with Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 is currently 41 with 17 deaths in NSW, 3 in the NT, 1 in Qld, 3 in SA, 1 in Tas, 15 in Victoria and 1 in WA.
        Hospitalisations
        There are currently 226 people in hospital around Australia with Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 and 93 of these are in Intensive Care Units.

            Hospitalisations


            There are currently 383 people in hospital around Australia with Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 and 103 of these are in Intensive Care Units.
            There are 10 people hospitalised in the ACT, 189 in NSW, 24 in the NT, 78 in Qld, 29 in SA, 8 in Tas, 26 in Victoria and 19 in WA.
            ICU admissions: Of the 103 people currently in Intensive Care Units, there are 3 in the ACT, 46 in NSW, 6 in the NT, 21 in Qld, 5 in SA, 13 in Vic and 9 in WA.

              </td> </tr> </tbody></table> SYDNEY, July 29 (Xinhua) -- New South Wales (NSW) recorded four more deaths of people with A/H1N1 flu, bringing the state's toll to 21, health authorities revealed on Wednesday.
              NSW Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant confirmed the fatalities, saying all four people - two men and two women aged between 57 and71 - had underlying medical conditions.

              "A/H1N1 and seasonal flu can also occasionally affect people who have previously been fit and well, so it is important that everyone continues to be vigilant."
              Chant reminded everyone to practice good hygiene, including covering the nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing and disposing of tissues promptly after use.
              A total of 3,874 people in NSW have now tested positive for A/H1N1 flu, however, this figure represents only a small proportion of the true number of cases.
