    KUALA LUMPUR, 30 juillet (Xinhua) -- Le minist?re malaisien de la Sant? a signal? jeudi 36 nouveaux cas de grippe A/H1N1, portant ? 1 302 le nombre total de contaminations de la maladie dans le pays, dont quatre ont ?t? mortelles.

    Les nouveaux cas ont ?t? transmis ? l'int?rieur du pays, indique le minist?re, ajoutant que seuls 19 patients sont hospitalis?s en Malaisie ? l'heure actuelle.

    Le directeur g?n?ral du minist?re malaisien de la Sant?, Ismail Merican, a rappel? que les m?decins hospitaliers ne pouvaient refuser les demandes de patients atteints de maux de gorge de se faire d?pister pour la grippe A/H1N1.

    Il a appel? les m?decins ? respecter les directives du gouvernement concernant cette maladie, mettant en garde qu'ils s' exposaient ? des enqu?tes dans le cas contraire.

    Les cas mortels de l'?pid?mie dans le pays ont ?t? caus?s par un traitement trop tardif ou par le fait que leurs m?decins n' avaient pas d?tect? le virus.

    Rosnah a clarifi? que le virus a ?t? produit par un processus de la mutation ? partir des g?nes de virus de grippe, qui ?tait un m?lange des g?nes de virus de grippe des porcs, aviaire et de l'humain, citant l'information publi?e par l'organisation mondiale de la sant? en avril.
    Elle a ?galement dit que des essais de la grippe A/H1N1 ont ?t? effectu?s pour 17.459 sp?cimens de 672 fermes de porc en Malaisie, 191 sp?cimens a montr? le positif pour la grippe classique de porcs, sans le positif examin? par sp?cimen pour le virus A/H1N1.
    Rosnah a rassur? les s?nateurs que la grippe classique de porcs n'a pas ?t? infect?e par des ?tres humains et ne se produit pas seulement parmi des porcs, selon des m?dias locaux.

    The Malaysian Health Ministry said that among the 20 new cases, four was locally transmitted and others were imported.
    The ministry said that the imported cases involved patients who visited Australia, Indonesia, Britain, Japan, Singapore and Thailand.
    On the day, four schools within the Klang Valley resumed classes, after being closed for a week to control the spread of the flu. The Klang Valley is an urban area covering Kuala Lumpur and some major cities in Selangor State.
    While, one private school in Seremban State remained close as ordered by the authority on Sunday.

    Malaysian Health Minister Liow Tiong Lai said the latest 11 cases include eight imported cases and three locally transmitted ones.
    The imported cases were from Phuket in Thailand, Cyprus, Ireland, the Philippines and Australia.
    A 19-month-old baby and two other kids aged at 6 and 9 years were among the new patients on Thursday.
    Liow has urged Malaysian employers to allow seven days' unrecorded leave for staff who are placed under quarantine for the flu.

    The ministry said that among the latest cases confirmed, ten were imported ones and two were locally transmitted cases of the disease.
    Meanwhile, Malaysia's southern state of Johor reported its first confirmed A/H1N1 flu case on Wednesday, which involved a female student, 19, who returned to Johor from Melbourne, Australia, via the Changi Airport in Singapore on Monday.
    Most cases of the disease were found within the Klang Valley, a wide urban area covering Kuala Lumpur and several major cities in the Selangor State, including Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Klang.
    So far, Malaysia recorded a total of 12 locally transmitted cases.
