4 new cases were reported today. 1 in an adult from Hancock county, 1 in a young adult from York county, 1 in a young adult from Cumberland county, and 1 in an out of state resident tested in Hancock county.<o:p></o:p>
A total of 6 patients have been hospitalized with H1N1 to date, all have been discharged.<o:p></o:p>
5 summer camps have had cases of H1N1 to date, involving 10 individuals.<o:p></o:p>
Although case counts are reported here, it is important to note that individual case data are useful only in that they are markers of the presence of H1N1 in a given county or geographical area. Many people with H1N1 are not tested, and their illness is not reflected in the case counts. Counties or regions with no reported cases may still be affected.<o:p></o:p>
A total of 64 <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Maine</st1:place></st1:State> residents have been diagnosed with H1N1 (all confirmed). In addition, 18 out of state residents were diagnosed while visiting <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Maine</st1:place></st1:State>, for a total of 82 diagnoses in the state.<o:p></o:p>
