Idaho has five confirmed cases of H1N1 infection and two probable reports. No hospitalizations have been reported. As of Thursday, May 14, a total of 375 other Idaho samples have tested negative.

The Idaho Bureau of Labs was notified Friday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that it can now confirm H1N1 tests in-state, without having to submit samples to the CDC for confirmation. The State will now list reports as either confirmed, negative or under investigation.
As of Friday, May 15, Idaho has eight confirmed cases, 387 negative reports, and 12 reports under investigation.

Idaho H1N1 Information Nine confirmed cases of H1N1 infection has been reported in Idaho. State and local public health officials are aggressively working with medical providers and Idaho Public Health Districts to identify any reports of influenza-like illnesses that may be related to H1N1. There is not a vaccine available for H1N1, but people can help stay healthy by following the prevention tips outlined below.
