    In NORTHCOM during week 42
    ? Influenza activity was minimal and below baseline levels.
    ? Flu A remains the predominant circulating virus with an increase in influenza B viruses in service members and dependents.
    ? The cumulative percentages of positive lab tests were low for Week 42. The rates were 0.44% for service members and 0.88% for dependents.
    ? As of 24 October, immunization coverage among DoD service members reached 48%.
    ? One influenza hospitalization (RME) among a non-service member beneficiary was reported in NORTH-COM during week 42.


    In EUCOM during week 42
    ? Influenza activity was minimal across EUCOM.
    ? The percentage of outpatient visits due to ILI was be-low baseline and similar to previous seasons.
    ? Four influenza positive lab tests among non-service member beneficiaries have been reported for EUCOM this season.
    ? The cumulative percentages of positive lab tests were low for Week 42. The rates were 0.44% for service members and 0.88% for dependents.


    In PACOM during week 421,6,7
    ? Influenza activity was minimal throughout PACOM.
    ? The percentage of outpatient visits due to ILI was below baseline and similar to previous seasons.
    ? Laboratory confirmed Influenza A and B were reported in Hawaii and Influenza A in Guam.
    ? The cumulative percent of positive lab tests for service members and dependents were 1.39% and 8.13%, respec-tively.
    ? One influenza hospitalization (RME) among a non-service member beneficiary was reported in PACOM during week 42.


    In CENTCOM and AFRICOM during week 421,8,9
    ? Influenza activity was minimal in CENTCOM and AFRICOM.
    ? The percentage of outpatient visits due to ILI was at baseline and similar to previous seasons.


    In SOUTHCOM during week 4210
    ? Influenza activity in Honduras was minimal based on DMSS data.
