On Saturday, July 2, 2011, a beam from the former North Tower of the World Trade Center followed a local route from Angola, IN to a memorial site at the Osolo Fire Department in Elkhart, IN.
The beam, draped with a flag and carried on the red truck, was escorted by police, fire departments and an estimated 15,000 motorcyclists. As the beam came by this location, a local pilot flew over and did a big dip to pay tribute.
The entire procession took about 20 minutes; so I made this .gif from the first few minutes of the video I took.
I found this program on the net http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.php and it's really simple to make .gifs. I saved screen captures from my video, then just dragged the pics I wanted into the .gif maker. It gives the options of how fast you want your frames to display, either as a group or individually. In mine, I slowed down the couple of the truck carrying the beam.
