  • secret Chinese pandemic plan ?

it seems to me that the Chinese were prepared for this situation, but that it was all secret.
The quarantines, the math. modeling that Zhong frequently refers to, the mobile hospitals
and medical crews - the whole pandemic plan.
They may have developed it with the H5N1-threat in 2005.or with the
    SARS-experience in 2003 or H1N1 in 2009 or H7N9 in 2013 .
And it may have been the military which played the major role in this,
    that would explain the secrecy.
They knew that it would likely work or might well work when they implemented
the quarantine on Jan23. Despite all the Western studies and modelings by
    Ferguson, Longini etc.
And they knew exactly what to do, who was responsible for what task, how and when
to close the roads, airports, where to isolate the suspected people and such.

Now, they are still keeping all this secret, but questions will be asked ...
The world wants to learn from the Chinese experience, there will be
(more ) studies about the outbreak and these can't so well keep
the existing Chinese pandemic plans secret since they are important
for the overall conclusions and recommendations.

They have been planning and drilling for many years for a flu pandemic. Like many governments they probably have a comprehensive pandemic plan. Probably filed next to the rebellion plan.

Filed next to the rebellion plan or no. Maybe we could learn something that would be applicable to the plans of other nations. What worked and didn't work for them. Quarantining ships was used last century, we have enough knowledge to be able to do things differently now

they should publish it now , so other countries like Iran can act accordingly. It doesn't help China, if it starts elsewhere
and then maybe comes back to China

          Merci,

they can handle 40000 in the hospitals, 10000 severe cases.
Handling some hundred dead bodies should be
            no big problem

Based on the lack of previsions for issues such as harvest management and food supply maintenance, it appears the planning was for only a very short term problem.
The Chinese government is now trying to adjust their controls to take that into account, but that still leaves the larger challenge of restarting the industrial base at a time that distribution is crippled.
How does the Chinese worker buy food if the factory is shut and he does not get paid?

                        thanks JJackson .
But Draft version, no date. Basically MoH is responsible
                        (ministry of health = health-department)
Mentions flu-pandemics (but not 2009), no mention of SARS or coronavirus.
                        China as developing country.
Could be ~20 years old ?!
