    I use irfanview to zoom in (+) and out (-)




    regions with similar vertical lines pattern are substrains, related viruses
    with common descendance.

      H5N1-HA-clades

      Wikipedia:
      The dominant strain of HPAI A(H5N1) in 2004 evolved from 1999 to 2002 creating the Z genotype.[22]
      It has also been called "Asian lineage HPAI A(H5N1)".
      Asian lineage HPAI A(H5N1) is divided into two antigenic clades.
      Clade 1 includes human and bird isolates from Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia
      and bird isolates from Laos and Malaysia.
      Clade 2 viruses were first identified in bird isolates from China, Indonesia, Japan, and
      South Korea before spreading westward to the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.

                similar codon-frequencies are represented by smaller numbers in the table.
                These small numbers = similarities arise from
                1.) genetic similarity, recent ancester
                2.) longterm evolution in related species


                e.g. eq1 is avianlike but after evolution of 45 years in horses eq2 is more bat-human-swine-equine like
                same for BM,107 or esw,s06

                but also 17G,P30 !
                Indicating that this virus may have evolved the last 19 years in mammalean species

                    ---click "customize fasta defline" and specify the sequence-data that you want together with the sequences
                    I use:

                    ---in the field right to "download results" select "nucleotide /FASTA)"

                    ---click "download results"
                    the download is being prepared , this takes a while

                    --- specify the file name what you want it to be stored into

                    --- 280MB are being downloaded .... yesterday I got 800KB per second, 6 min in total
                    today I'm getting ~630 KB per sec
                    you may have to try several times (clicking download,selecting file name,save) if the save stops
                    too early with a small file - I had this issue with the AOL-browser.
                    You may also have to close other windows or finish other programs since this is memory-intensive

                    now I postprocess the output-file, one line for the parameters and one line for the nucleotides
                    of each sequence.
                    I separated the parameters by "|" , although I prefer "," , but there are some other "," among the parameters
                    So I change all "," to "_" and then change all "|" to "," .
                    Now I separate parameter lines and sequence lines into two files, so the parameter file
                    becomes shorter (~10MB) and manipulating it will be faster.
