    The report was published on 12 March 2015 reports the flu situation Week 10 (2 / 3-8 / 3).


    Summary Week 10, 2015

    Monitoring systems shows that the flu continues to decrease in Sweden. The number of cases of influenza A (H3N2) and A (H1N1) pdm09 has declined since week 8 and the increase of influenza B has leveled off. While the rest of Europe seen a decrease in influenza activity.       Summary Week 11, 2015

      Influenza activity continues to decline in Sweden. During week 11 reported a similar number of cases of influenza A (H3N2) and influenza B. The incidence of influenza A (H3N2) has declined sharply last week, while the incidence of influenza B is unchanged.Even in the other Nordic countries and Europe seen a decrease in influenza activity.

        Influenza activity continues to decline across the country. The number of positive influenza B samples have dropped compared to last week and probably also the peak of influenza B is reached.           Influenza Report

          This report was published April 2, 2015 and reports the flu situation at week 13 (23 / 3-29 / 3).


          Summary Week 13, 2015

          All monitoring systems shows that influenza activity in Sweden declined significantly since the peak weeks 8-10. Influenza B is diagnosed contrast to the same extent as in the past four weeks. Influenza B now dominates in Sweden and elsewhere in Europe, which is not unusual at the end of the flu season. In other Nordic countries and Europe declines influenza activity slowly.             Summary Week 14, 2015

            Overall, flu continues to decrease in Sweden, although influenza B circulating unabated.The same pattern is also seen in the rest of Scandinavia and the rest of Europe. It is not uncommon for influenza B circulating at the end of the flu season.               This report issued on April 16 2015 and reported influenza situation in week 15 (6 / 4-12 / 4).


              Summary Week 15, 2015

              The flu continues to decline slowly in both Sweden and Europe. The total number of laboratory-confirmed cases and proportion of positive influenza A specimens continues to decline. Influenza B, however, continues to cause flu cases to the same extent as during the last six weeks and make the season extended. It is not uncommon for influenza B circulating the end of the flu season. The coming weeks, the number of flu cases continue to decline.
