    So far this winter has over 500 Swedes diagnosed with swine flu. They represent only a small part of all ill because most of those who may not be diagnosed infection, says H?l?ne Englund, Epidemiologist for acceptable on Folkh?lsomyndigheten to Aftonbladet. Five people have been so sick that they cared in artificial lung during the winter, and three people have died of the disease. And now starts the number of cases of illness increase significantly. This means that more is expected to die. - We are now seeing that it will increase and that we know at the moment is not how high peak will be or when it is reached, says Mia Brytting, chefsmikrobiolog on Folkh?lsomyndigheten, to swine vesicular disease.

    Swine flu outbreak kills six



    Six Swedes have died from swine flu so far this flu season, and more fatalities could be on the way, news agency TT reports.

    "This is the top of the iceberg", state epidemiologist Anders Tegnell told the agency.

    There are currently several different types of influensa in circulation, the swine flu typically affects young people harder, while the seasonal flu tends to hit the elderly. All of those killed by the swine flu had other medical conditions.

    Six Swedes have died from swine flu so far this flu season, and more fatalities could be on the way, news agency TT reports.
