    Hospital emergencies increased by 2.5% last week

    The emergency attending the public Catalan hospitals rose 2.5% last week - from 4 to 10 February - which, in absolute terms amounted to a total of 59,489 hospitality, while the number of emergency also entered rose 2.1%, with a total of 6463 cases.

    According to the Regional Ministry of Health, increased health care activity data does not record out of the ordinary at this time, as shows that a year ago charitable activity was 3% higher in the emergency room and treated by 0.3% in income.

    According to information gathered by the Information Plan for Acute Respiratory Infections in Catalonia (Pidirac), influenza activity influenza virus A (H1N1) shows a low intensity and below the epidemic threshold, as the incidence rate ILI reported by the network is 55.4 cases per 100,000 population.
