The Department of health, Social Welfare and family of the Aragon Government studies the causes of an outbreak of flu, the H1N1 strain, remains hospitalized to twenty people in Aragon, eleven of which are entered in the unit of intensive care (ICU) of several hospitals.In the province of Zaragoza, there are nine people hospitalized, eight in the ICU; in Teruel eleven people, three in the ICU; While in Huesca at the moment no cases have been recorded.The Directorate-General of public health of Aragon enabled since yesterday the Protocol established for these cases, having to rise to ten patients affected by influenza A in the province of Teruel, as reported today to EFE sources of this institution.Sources from the Department of health have explained to Efe that 'it is not an usual outbreak', but such situations are covered in the established protocol, which includes vaccination to immediate family members and the isolation of the affected patients, among other measures.

Health is studying the causes of the outbreak of flu A affecting 20 people in Aragon


The Department of Health, Social Welfare and Family Affairs of the Government of Aragon is studying the causes of the outbreak of influenza that keeps hospitalized eleven people in hospitals in the province of Teruel and nine in hospital centers in the Aragonese capital. The Directorate General for Public Health of Aragon active this Wednesday established protocol for these cases, after which will be raised to ten patients affected by the influenza A in the province of Teruel. According sources have informed the Government of Aragon, in the province of Teruel there are eleven cases and nine persons are hospitalized in the Hospital Bishop Polanco, three of them in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and six in the plant, while two others are being treated in the Hospital of Alcañiz. For its part, in Zaragoza have been detected so far nine cases, five of which affected are hospitalized in the hospital Miguel Servet (four of them in the ICU), one in the ICU of the hospital Clínic, another one in the Chiron and two in Royo Villanova. Sources of the Department of Health have explained that "it is not a usual outbreak but is referred to in the protocol', which includes the vaccination to the immediate family and the isolation of affected patients, among other measures.
