  • The virus A/H1N1 scarcely causes 13 % of the cases of flu in Spain

    This way Carlos III gets rid of the information of the System of Alertness of the Flu in Spain of the National Network of Epidemiologic Alertness of the Institute of Health, that show an intensity gripal low in all the communities, with a global valuation of scarcely 23,48 cases for every 100.000 inhabitants in the last week, from November 27 until December 3.

    Of these cases, and according to the viral realized detections, 80 per cent they correspond to the virus of the flu A (although 83 per cent they belong to the A/H3N2 and only 17 per cent - 13,6 % of the whole - to the A/H1N1) and 20 per cent to the virus of the flu B.
    For communities, the most punished is Canaries, with 72,5 cases for 100.000 inhabitants, followed by Ceuta (68,4), Asturias (51,7), Catalonia (50,6), Castilla-La Mancha (42,6) and Melilla (28,7).


    Already below the national average Basque Country (21,4), Madrid (21) are, Valencian Community (17), Aragon (14,9), La Rioja (13,4), Andalusia (12,6), Navarre (10,3), Castile and Le?n (10,3), Balearics (7,5) and Cantabria (7,4), whereas of Galicia, Murcia and Extremadura they do not have precise information.
