BRATISLAVA, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- A Slovak woman who had contracted swine flu has died, a hospital spokesperson said Tuesday.
"The condition of the patient deteriorated after initial improvement. She died because of the disease over the weekend," spokesperson of the F.D. Roosevelt Hospital Ruzena Mataseje said.
The patient was admitted to the hospital in Banska Bystrica on Feb. 4, according to Mataseje.
Two patients with the A(H1N1) virus still remain at the F.D. Roosevelt Hospital.
