Still 21 interned with Flu A in Coimbra
There are 21 patients with Flu when It was interned in the hospitals of Inhabitant of Coimbra, but none in serious state, according to official up-to-date numbers this Tuesday.

The Nosocomial and University Centre of Inhabitant of Coimbra announced this Friday that one of his patients, infected with flu A, died again.
This is already the fifth death associated to the virus this week, the third one to be registered in Inhabitant of Coimbra, when remainder happened in Portalegre. In notice, the Nosocomial Centre adds still what has 16 patients interned with the virus H1N1.

DGS confirms 27 hospitalizations and 4 deaths for flu
The General-direction of the Health (DGS) informed today what were turned back 27 cases of internamento, due to the flu, from which four turned in death, numbers that are inside the expected one and up to lightly below the registered one in last year.
In agreement with the subdirector of the DGS, Grace Freitas, there is a group of ? hospitals sentry ? what turn back the number of cases of internamento in intensive cares and what, even at the moment, turned back 27 cases, which ? is inside the waited one for the time ?.
? Of these 27 cases, there are four known deaths ?, it added, underlining that, ? compared with the homologous period, there is no the excess of mortality that happened in last year ?.
According to the person in charge, in last grippal time, there was a very accented peak, which coincided with a bigger incidence of flu.

As for four moderate deaths, Grace Freitas explained that it the question is sporadic cases of persons with associate complications, which evolved into death.
? This is the normal thing, there is no reason for alarm, they are persons whose basic situation was already not good, persons with a vulnerability bigger than a healthy person ?, it added.
The person in charge underlined that every winter there is flu, persons who are ill and who are cured, others that are interned and others that die, reason because every year to DGS pass appeals to the vaccination and to habits of hygiene of the hands and respiratory, to moderate the epidemics of flu.

Rose to 13 the number of patients with influenza A, the Coimbra Hospital Center. Of these seven are ventilated in intensive care.
Two other patients are hospitalized, suspected of having contracted the disease, but the analyzes could only confirm the suspicions of doctors.

The number of cases of influenza A followed at Hospital Center and University of Coimbra (chuc) rose to 11 yesterday. By late afternoon, seven patients were hospitalized in intensive care: five in University Hospitals and two General Hospital (Cov?es).
