Acute Respiratory Illness Emergency Departments Admission Surveillance System
Week 3/2011 (17-23 January 2011)
Acute Respiratory Illness:
During week 03/2011, 7.6% of all patients admissions to Hospital Emergency Departments were due to acute respiratory illness.
Among these patients, 20.3% has been hospitalized.
This week Emergency Departments accessions rate is stable for all the classes of age.
Alert Level threshold has not been exceeded for all classes of ages.
For those in the classes of age 0-4 year old and 5-14 year old, an increasing number of Emergency Departments accessions has been detected.
