A RECORD number of patients languished on trolleys today.
Nurses described the 612 patients lying on hospital trolleys as ?truly shocking?.
University Hospital Limerick was the most over-crowded with 46 people in need of a bed, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
Last year there were almost 94,000 patients on trolleys ? compared to 50,000 in 2007 when the situation was declared a ?National Emergency?...
