The activity of acute respiratory illness (ARE) is nationwide in the 10th calendar week (KW)

The activity of acute respiratory illness (ARE) is nationwide in the 11th calendar week (KW) in 2016
compared to last week fell slightly. The values of the praxis Index were altogether in the range

The activity of acute respiratory illness (ARE) is nationwide in the 12th calendar week (KW) in 2016
declined compared to last week. The values of the praxis index were overall still in the area clearly
elevated ARE activity.
The National Reference Centre for Influenza (NRZ) were in the 12 KW 2016 128 (80%) of 163
Sentinel samples respiratory viruses identified. In 109 (67%) samples were influenza, in eleven (7%)
Respiratory syncytial (RS) -, humane in one (1%) metapneumoviruses (hMPV) in five (3%) Adenound

The activity of acute respiratory illness (ARE) is nationwide in the 13th calendar week (KW) in 2016
declined compared to last week. The values of the praxis Index were a total in the range moderately elevated
ARE activity.
The National Reference Centre for Influenza (NRZ) were in the 13 KW 2016 74 (60%) of 123
Sentinel samples respiratory viruses identified. In 54 (44%) samples were influenza, in eleven (9%)

compared to last week dropped significantly. The values of the praxis index were overall in the field of
ARE background activity.
The National Reference Centre for Influenza (NRZ) were in the 15 KW 2016 49 (60%) of 82
Sentinel samples respiratory viruses identified. In 30 (37%) samples were influenza, in four (5%)
Respiratory syncytial (RS) -, were in five (6%) adenomas, in twelve (15%) and Rhino in a (1%) sample
humane metapneumoviruses (hMPV) detected.
For the 15 reporting week (MW) in 2016 have so far been 2,218 laboratory-confirmed influenza cases

This influenza weekly report, the weekly reporting ends in the season 2015/16. The
incoming data continues to be analyzed by the week and on the AGI website

The activity of acute respiratory illness (ARE) is nationwide in the 16th calendar week (KW) in 2016
declined compared to last week. The values of the practice index were overall in the AREHintergrund activity.

The National Reference Centre for Influenza (NRZ) were in the 16 KW 2016 30 (48%) of 63
Sentinel samples respiratory viruses identified. In nine (14%) samples were influenza, in three
(5%) respiratory syncytial (RS) - or human metapneumoviruses (hMPV) in four (6%) and adenocarcinoma in
14 (22%) detected rhinoviruses.
For the 16 reporting week (MW) in 2016 have so far been 1,236 laboratory-confirmed influenza cases
to the RKI transmitted (data from 04.26.2016).
