The activity of acute respiratory illness (ARE) is nationwide in the 7th calendar week (CW) in 2015
again increased compared to the previous week. The values of the Praxis index were strong overall in the field
                            ARE increased activity.

The National Reference Center (NRC) for influenza were in the 7th KW 2015 196 (74%) of 266
submitted Sentinel samples identified respiratory viruses. In 167 (63%) samples were Influenza viruses,
in 19 (7%), respiratory syncytial (RS) virus in eight (3%) rhinoviruses, in six (2%) adenoviruses
and two (1%) human metapneumoviruses (hMPV) detected.
After Infection Protection Act (IfSG) were used for the reporting week 7. (MW) in 2015 and so far 6,251 since

The influenza-positive rate in the NRZ and the greatly increased activity ARE exhibit high influenza activity
in on Germany. According to the definition of the Association of influenza in the

Influenza B (Tab. 4). In 877 (14%) patients reported that they were hospitalized.
For the 7th KW three outbreaks each with at least 20 cases were (laboratory diagnostic or

with influenza outbreaks in nursing homes.
The different distribution of the identified influenza A subtypes in the AGI-Sentinel and the
Reporting data can be, among other things due to the fact that after the 2009 pandemic significantly more PCR for
Established subtyping of influenza A (H1N1) pdm09 as for A (H3N2) or integrated into multiplex PCR
