Sentinel samples a total of 18 (14 %) were positive for influenza. In 28 (21%) samples were Respiratory
    Syncytial virus (RSV) , in 21 (16% ) human metapneumoviruses ( hMPV ) , eleven (8%) and 19 adenovirus

For the 12 MW in 2014 have so far been 504 laboratory- confirmed clinical influenza illness in
                the RKI transmitted : 50 cases with influenza A ( H1N1) pdm09 , 31 cases of influenza A ( H3N2) , 370 cases of
not subtypisierter influenza A, influenza B, and 35 cases with 18 cases with non differentiated by influenza A or B (Table 3). In 127 (25 %) of these patients indicated that they were hospitalized.
Since the 40th MW 2013 were a total of 4,487 laboratory- confirmed clinical influenza cases
the RKI transmitted . In 912 (20%) cases had indicated that they were hospitalized (data
                25.03.2014 ) .
So far, eleven laboratory- confirmed deaths to the RKI was submitted , including six with influenza A ( H1N1) pdm09 and five with non subtypisierter influenza A.
The different distribution of the identified influenza A subtypes in the AGI -Sentinel and the
Reporting data is due inter alia due to the fact that after the 2009 pandemic clearly more specific
                PCR detection pdm09 than for subtyping for A ( H3N2) Influenza A ( H1N1) have been established . the
Distribution of circulating in the population influenza types and subtypes is better represented in the AGI - Sentinel.
