the RKI transmitted : eleven cases with influenza A ( H1N1) pdm09 , 14 cases of influenza A ( H3N2) , 72 cases of
not subtypisierter influenza A, six cases with influenza B and 8 cases not differentiated to either A or B.

Summary assessment of the epidemiological situation

The values of the Praxis index and consultation incidence nationwide are in the 5th KW 2014 compared
increased compared to last week . The activity of acute respiratory disease (ARE) totaled slightly in

The National Reference Centre for Influenza ( NRZ) were in the 5th KW 2014 submitted at 97
Sentinel samples a total of 13 (13 %) were positive for influenza , seven influenza A ( H3N2 ) and six influenza A ( H1N1) pdm09 . In ten ( 10% each ) samples were respiratory syncytial virus (RSV )
or human metapneumoviruses ( hMPV ) and three ( 3%) samples adenoviruses were detected.
Rhinoviruses were detected in 15 samples ( 15%).
After the Infection Protection Act (IfSG ) were for the 5th Reporting week (MW) in 2014 so far 165 and since
