Portugal registered six more deaths associated with covid-19 and 401 new confirmed cases of infection in the last 24 hours, according to the epidemiological bulletin of the Directorate General of Health (DGS) released today.
According to DGS data, since the beginning of the pandemic until today, there have been 57,074 cases of infection and 1,815 deaths.

Portugal could be added to ‘air bridge' list at the end of August but it may be 'too late'
PORTUGAL is yet to be added to the UK Government's "air bridge" list, despite new countries being added to the list on Friday. However, a Government source has revealed that the Portugal holidays could be back on the cards soon.

In total, Portugal has had 52,668 cases of coronavirus, at the time of writing.
But now, it seems the country could be added to the UK’s “safe” list which allows travellers to return from the country to the UK without facing 14 days in quarantine.

There are already 1679 dead and 47,765 infected by covid-19 in Portugal, according to data released this Thursday in the epidemiological bulletin of the General Directorate of Health (DGS). Three more deaths and 339 cases in the last 24 hours, 274 of these (81%) are residing in the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region.
