    20 de gâşte din Delta Dunării, folosite ca păsări santinelă, au fost depistate cu virusul slab patogen al gripei aviare (H5N3), a cărui tulpină nu este periculoasă pentru om, a anunţat, vineri, Autoritatea Naţională Sanitară Veterinară şi pentru Siguranţa Alimentelor (ANSVSA).

    "Păsările respective sunt izolate, într-o locaţie numită Cot Candura, aflată într-o zonă greu accesibilă din Delta Dunării, unde se poate ajunge doar cu barca.Pe o rază de 3 km (zona de protecţie) nu există localităţi, ferme sau gospodării ale populaţiei", mai spun reprezentanţii ANSVSA.

    Conform procedurilor, ANSVSA a informat Comisia Europeană.
