      HPAI. Over 140,000 pieces of poultry in 2 fires

      The virus of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 was confirmed in 2 farms in Wielkopolska. The number of HPAI outbreaks in 2022 increased to 1 6 , and in the entire 2021/2022 season to 7 9 .

      The Veterinary Inspection has mapped 2 farms with confirmed highly pathogenic avian influenza. Both are located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship

      HPAI No. 2022/15 outbreak was recorded on January 6th on a commercial farm with 136,186 fattening turkeys . It is located in the town of Bolesławiec in the Mosina commune in the poviat of Poznań , in the province of Greater Poland .

      An outbreak of HPAI No. 2022/1 6 was found on January 8 on a commercial farm where 9,225 breeding ducks were kept . It is located in the town of Bieczyny in the Czempiń Commune in Kościan County in the Province of Greater Poland .

      HPAI outbreaks No. 2022/15 and 2022/16 are both 36 and 37 , which broke out in the Greater Poland Voivodeship in the season 2021/2022

      On farms with an outbreak of HPAI, the Veterinary Inspection implements all disease control measures in accordance with the procedures and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/687, including killing and utilization of animals, cleaning and disinfection in the focus of the disease, designation of infected and endangered areas.

      The Veterinary Inspection also confirmed another 3 HPAI outbreaks in wild birds . They were all caused by the AI H5N1 virus subtype

      HPAI outbreak No. 1 6 was found on January 2 , 7 in the province. Kujawsko-Pomorskie in the commune of Kamień Krajeński in the poviat of Sępoleński m the mute swan .

      HPAI outbreak No. 1 7 was found on January 2 on January 8 in the province. Pomeranian Voivodeship in the Władysławowo commune in the Puck poviat in 6 mute swans .

      HPAI outbreak No. 1 8 was found on January 8 in the province. Mazowieckie in the Pomiechówek commune in the Nowodworski poviat m u ł abędzi a dumb ego.

According to the regulation, localities in the Człuchów poviat constitute an area at risk, among others; Debrzno Wieś, Lipka, Smolnica, Trudna, Laskowo, Scholastykowo, Łąkie and a forest area within the town of Potulice.

          The 20th outbreak of bird flu this year was marked yesterday (02/14/2022) in the province in the town of Chlewo in the Sieradz poviat. 18,050 ducks for slaughter were kept on the farm. The avian influenza did not give the inhabitants of the Sieradz district too much peace, because only recently the warning boards were removed. Avian influenza attacked farms and attacked as early as November 2021. The ordinance on the designation of the threatened and infected area has not yet appeared in the Official Journal of the Lodzkie Voivodship. There will be no surprise, as these are zones around the farm within a radius of 3 and 7 km....
