Epidemiology Source of the outbreak(s) or origin of infection Unknown or inconclusive Epidemiological comments The positivity regards a commercial farm of layer hens (free-range/organic). Increased mortality rate was reported during the last two to three days. A protection zone of three kms and a surveillance zone of ten kms have been established around the farm, which is under restriction. Depopulation has been completed.

Avian flu, slaughtered 50 thousand turkeys

PORTOMAGGIORE. Bird flu returns to beat in portuense territory.
