    Another oubtreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza H7N7 has been confirmed at a turkeys farm near the town of Portomaggiore, Ferrara Province; the premise hosts around 18,000 birds. The farm is near the other affected site, at Ostellato, the first to be confirmed infected by the virus some days ago. Laboratory analysis confirmed the presence of the virus H7 in samples collected from the farm’s birds, according the Regional Authorities.
