    • Epidemiological investigations and clinical surveillance have detected no further cases of NAI.
    • One contact premises was restricted and a temporary control zone established pending laboratory test results.
    • The restrictions were removed following negative serological and virological test results.
    • Under ongoing annual active and passive avian influenza surveillance programmes a total of 7,791 AGID tests, 1,630 AI H5/H7 HAI tests, 368 AI MP PCR tests and 82 virus isolation tests have been carried out in 2012 to 26 June.
    • In accordance with Article 10.4.3 of the Terrestrial Animal Health Code, as 3 months have passed since disinfection of the affected premises was completed on 2 April, and surveillance has been carried out during the 3 months period in accordance with Articles 10.4.27 to 10.4.33 of the Code, Ireland declares regaining its NAI free status.
