- There have been no new outbreaks of notifiable avian influenza in Denmark since the outbreak of low pathogenic avian influenza detected on 19 March 2010.
- The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration has implemented the control measures in accordance with the European Union's Council Directive 2005/94/EC.
- According to the requirements in article 10.4.3 of the Terrestrial Animal Health Code, Denmark expects to regain its status as a notifiable avian influenza free country on 28 June 2010 if no new outbreaks are observed.

- Note by the OIE Animal Health Information Department: H5 and H7 avian influenza in its low pathogenic form in poultry is a notifiable disease as per Chapter 10.4. on avian influenza of the Terrestrial Animal Health Code (2009).
