    New outbreaks of avian influenza recorded in the Kherson region

    The State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection (Gosprodpotrebsluzhba) of Ukraine registered the deaths of birds in Genichesk districts and Kakhovka Kherson region, the press service of the department.


    "In the study of samples taken from two private farms citizens and two samples of biological material from the wild migratory birds in the State research institute on laboratory diagnostics and veterinary-sanitary examination (Kyiv) on December 16 diagnosed with bird flu," - said in a statement Gosprodpotrebsluzhby.

    As noted in the department, in order to coordinate actions on localization and liquidation of the avian flu outbreak on December 17 was a meeting of the State Emergency anti-epizootic commission at Genichesk and Kakhovka district state administration, whose decision approved plans for the elimination of the disease, defined the boundaries of the epizootic outbreak, protection and surveillance zones.

    Now the outbreaks of disease measures are taken to contain and prevent the spread of avian influenza virus.
