Swan death "not connected" to nerve agent attack in Salisbury

There's reassurance over a dead swan found in Salisbury after fears on social media it could be linked to the nerve agent attack .
The male bird was found near Five Rivers Leisure Centre on March 4th, the same day that former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia were found poisoned on a bench in the city.
Government officials removed the bird's body but DEFRA have confirmed to Spire FM that the swan's death "was not connected to the incident."
It's understood bird flu is a possible cause of death.
