31/10/2017 – On 30 October, IZSLER confirmed as positive for Avian Influenza A virus subtype H5 a fattening turkeys farm in Brescia province (Lombardy region). The farm had about 13.800 male turkeys, for a total of five sheds. On 30 October morning, increased mortality was observed and reported to the Veterinary Services. Further information will be provided as soon as available.
